Duties Description Under the direction of a site supervisor or other higher-level staff, the selected candidate will be expected to perform the following visitors’ services and operations duties at two state historic sites:
• Greet and engage with historic site visitors.
• Provide guided tours of Oriskany Battlefield and Steuben Memorial State Historic Sites grounds.
• Perform opening/closing duties and general cleaning of the public spaces and restrooms.
• Assist in operation of special events and programs.
• Assist with special projects related to historic research.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications No Minimum Qualifications per Civil Service.

Additional Comments OPERATIONAL NEEDS:
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrate a strong interest in Revolutionary War history.
• Public presentation experience is strongly preferred.
